Thank you to all who prayed for us. I received a call from our social worker today that the birth mother we had been waiting on chose US! I can't describe all the emotions and thoughts that started running through my mind. In fact, I had started daydreaming about cuddling our new baby! I got as much information as I could about the birth mother and then had to wait to reach Skeeter so that we could decide today if we would want to proceed with this case.
After Skeeter and I talked, we decided that this was NOT the case for us. So with tears and disappointment we wait, knowing that God has a much better plan for us and our family! Thank you for all of your encouraging words for us!

ReplyDeleteNo...whether you decide no or birth mom decides no...is such a heartfelt place to be. Praying you can rest in His peace & know that you're "no" is a step in that precious baby finding his/her forever family!
