Several have been asking how Anne is doing, and I realized I haven't updated since she has come home as to how she is doing. Going back to school was a bit of an adjustment for her, but it didn't take as long for her to get into the swing of things as she thought it might. If you remember, we had asked you to pray for her that God would bring a good friend into her life as her best friend had moved away last year. God has answered by giving her an amazing friend!
I love watching these two interact!! I am so thankful for this special friendship! They are a good match for each other!
We recently had parent/teacher conferences, and the teachers who had had Anne last year, made comment about how much difference they see in her this year. This was an encouragement!
Transition for us has not been without its bumps. Life in general does not have smooth sailing all the time as God takes us down different paths to learn different lessons. We are currently experiencing a bit of a bump. The past couple of weeks have been difficult for Anne. Her anxiety levels have increased causing her to really struggle with feeling well. This week we had some lab work done to see if we can determine the cause for the increase in anxiety. We are waiting for the results to see what steps need to be taken to help her feel better. Please be in prayer for the doctors and for us that we will have the wisdom to know how to help Anne get to feeling better. Please be in prayer for Anne as stress levels are higher as she has an increased level activity right now at school. She has been involved with weekly practices (twice a week) for the musical, Esther, in which she is participating. The next couple of weeks, the practices will increase in length and amount as the time of the perfomances are getting closer. In addition to practices, she has homework and a choir concert. She wears out easily, so we pray for health and strength that she needs to stay in the game comfortably.
Thanks for continuing to pray for us!
