Julie, the therapist for "S" called this evening and the next couple of days could play a crucial role in how we choose to proceed with this case. "S" still has not gotten her medical card taken care of nor has she checked into treatment like she "promised". She is continuing to stay in the rental, which from my understanding has no water or heat, and feels "safe" there. Her next ob appointment is either tomorrow or Tuesday, Julie couldn't remember for sure which day. So the goal will be for Julie to take "S" since she isn't going on her own, to get her medical card updated, take her to the doctor and then take her to treatment. Hopefully "S" will her let her help her get to these places to get these important factors lined up. Because she has been sick, her boyfriend is now sick, so we pray for both of them that they will soon be feeling better.
Thanks for continuing to join with us in prayer as we continue to seek out what Jesus would have us do in this situation. Julie said she would call me if she is able to get her to the doctor to let me know how the appointment went. Will keep you posted as I learn more! :)
Also, please keep Julie in your prayers as she works with "S" that she will have the wisdom to know how to best help her.
